Welcome to Design Essence LTD. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
INTRODUCTION
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and services. By engaging with Design Essence LTD, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms. Design Essence LTD provides graphic design services, including but not limited to brand identity, digital design, print design, and website design. All services are subject to availability and project timelines agreed upon with the client

1.0 TURNAROUND TIME & DELIVERABLES
Standalone designs e.g. (all things digital & print collateral) take up to 3 working days to be completed. Branding packages require a minimum turnaround of 1-week, excluding weekends and bank holidays, unless specified otherwise. Please note that lack of detail provided in your design brief may result in delayed turnaround, therefore please ensure you provide a comprehensive summary of your requirements to ensure timely delivery and successful project outcomes.
Upon completion of all work, the designer will send the files to the client within 24 hours from the completion date via a WeTransfer link which will remain active for 36 hours. Any remaining balance(s), such as charges for additional revisions must be paid before any files can be sent.

1.1. EXPRESS TURNAROUND
An express turnaround of 1 working day can be applied to standalone designs at an additional fee
To qual ify for express turnaround, clients must provide a detailed design brief. Any enquiries lacking sufficient detail will not be eligible.

1.2 DESIGN BRIEFS
A full design brief must be sent at-least 24 hours prior to your allocated time slot (if not already discussed with the designer during the consultation phase). Failure to provide the design brief on time may result in delays. To avoid discussing your requirements on the scheduled workday, please send your brief early.

1.3 STANDALONE DESIGNS AND CHANGES
Changes to your design can be made during the turnaround period; however, they must align with the initial design brief. If you are unsatisfied with the progress of the design and wish to propose a new direction, this will be considered a separate design and will require a new booking and payment before work can begin. Please note that once your logo is finalised, no additional changes will be possible at a later date.

1.4 CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
Before submitting a design brief, please ensure all textual content has been thoroughly checked for spelling and grammatical errors. The designer will not be held responsible for errors identified after completion of a project. Upon receiving a design proposal, it is strongly recommended that the client make use of anytime to make further amendments, as once the design has been approved or submitted for printing, no further amendments can be made.

1.5 PRINT ORDERS AND DELIVERY
UK & Mainland
Standard print orders are sent via Royal Mail or DPD with a tracking number and can take up to 5-6 working days to arrive. Special finish prints with foil, spot gloss or letterpress can take up to 7-10 days to be delivered due to do longer production and printing times.
International
Standard print orders can take up to 7-8 working days to arrive. Special finish prints can take up to 8-10 working days to be delivered. Shipping prices will vary depending on the weight and size of your parcel which will be confirmed with you 24 hours before dispatch. Once your parcel has been shipped with a tracking number, please note the designer will no longer responsible for any damage, delays or loss of the parcel during transit. Any issues arising after dispatch must be raised with the courier company. Feel free to contact the designer for guidance if necessary.

1.6 BRANDING PACKAGES
Each package includes the services explicitly listed. Additional services such as Add-Ons or revisions beyond the package scope will result in extra charges. If the client wishes to purchase a custom package, a minimum of 4 services are required to be eligible this discounted deal. Instalment plans are available and can be purchased through klarna, with clear payment deadlines agreed upon at the start of a project. All pricing includes up to two rounds of revisions per deliverable.

1.7 RESPONSES
All enquiries are responded to within 24-48 hours. After a booking is confirmed, it is important for the client to communicate regularly with the designer to prevent a prolonged turnaround period. No response after 24-36 hours from the client will result in cancellation with no refund given.

1.8 REVISIONS AND SCOPE OF WORK
All clients are entitled to receive two free revisions per design. Any additional changes beyond the agreed limit will be charged accordingly and invoiced before the final files are sent. Once the final design is approved, any further changes will be treated as a new project and billed separately. To avoid unnecessary additional charges, it is strongly advised that all change requests remain within the proposed design brief and are raised before the final designs are approved.​

1.9 PAYMENTS AND REFUNDS
Full payment is required before any work can begin for standalone designs. Branding packages can be paid for in 3 instalments or in full. Clients based within the UK will be required to pay via bank transfer, whereas international
clients have the option to pay via PayPal . Please understand that under no circumstances can a refund be issued after the designer has began or completed any work(s). In the unlikely case of being unhappy with your design, it is recommended that the client makes use of additional revisions or proposing a different design brief. For more information, refer to clause 1.3.

2.0 CANCELLATIONS
Bookings can be cancelled up to 24 hours before the allocated start date on the agreement. Only in this case will the client be eligible to receive a full refund, provided that notice is given no later than 24 hours prior to the allocated date outlined on the agreement. If no notice is given, the designer reserves the right to assume that the client is happy to proceed with the design and will begin working on the date stated in the agreement.Due to the nature of our services, refunds are not available once work has commenced. If a client decides to cancel a project, any work completed up to that point remains the property of Design Essence LTD.

2.1 BOOKINGS AND SLOT DATES
Under no circumstance can a booking become fully confirmed or secured until payment is received. Please note that allocation slots represent only the start date of work and are not an indication of when the designs will be completed. Allocated start dates can be found on page 4 of the agreement.

2.2 FILE TYPES
For high-quality purposes, all files are delivered in PDF, PNG & JPEG format via a WeTransfer link which will remain active for 36 hours. Logo PDF fil es are a vectored format which ensures the client can resize the design without pixelation for use on a number of platforms. Additional fil es may be requested and these may incur at an additional charge. Any client requesting a print order will receive all artwork files after the design are submitted for printing.

2.3 WEBSITE DESIGN & HOSTING
Design Essence LTD does not provide hosting services. The client is responsible for purchasing a domain and hosting if required. Any third-party integrations or additional website functionality outside of the agreed package may result in additional fees.

2.4 INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
By agreeing to the terms and conditions set out in this contract you are accepting that all design work is property of Design Essence LTD and that you grant permission for the designer to advertise or promote any branded work via social media or for any other promotional use at any time.

2.5 CONFIDENTIALITY
Design Essence LTD values your privacy and will therefore treat all client information and design briefs as confidential. Any sensitive information provided will not be shared with third parties without prior consent. However, Design Essence LTD reserves the right to display non-confidential project work in portfolios and on social media platforms.

2.3 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Design Essence LTD operates on an equal rights basis and does not discriminate based on ethnicity, sexuality, religious beliefs, or race. The designer will not accept or work with any clients who do not abide by these terms. Additionally, the designer reserves the right to refuse service to clients suspected of attempting fraudulent or scam related activities.The designer holds the right to withdraw from working with any clients displaying inappropriate online behaviour or verbal abuse. In any of these cases, your booking will be cancelled, and no refund will be issued.
